On Friday October 5, Brethren High School National Honor Society will be collecting items for one of our Bobcat families who recently lost everything in a fire. If you can contribute a new or gently used item, please bring it to the game on Friday. A table will be set up at the entrance to collect items. If you cannot make it to the game but still want to contribute, please bring items to Mrs. Amstutz’s room (135). Please see the poster in the hallway for examples of items needed. Any help you can give would be appreciated!
Paint the Town Pink event is tonight with 4pm gathering, 4:45 Ceremony and walk beginning at 5pm in Downtown Manistee.

Congratulations to the Cross Country teams on an AWESOME showing at the Conference Championship last night! On the girls side, Alexis ran an incredible race and took down two girls to take First overall in the conference! Likewise, Federica was able to leapfrog a girl and come in 7th in order to leave with All-Conference honors as well. On the boys side, Justin set a new season best time of 19:33 in order to take 6th overall (after finishing no better than 10th in the previous 3 conference meets) and take home the 3rd of our All-Conference honors. Andrea, Eric, and Theresa all ran strong races as well in the surprising heat, with Andrea setting a PR of 20:34. Our middle school runners were ALL able to set season or personal bests, with Abby taking 5th, Paige 9th, and Autumn getting under a 21 for her first time ever! Great job everyone! –
Triple Header for Volleyball tonight at Walkerville starting at 5:30pm with MS, followed by JV/V games. –

MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL:

Juniors: We will have a prom planning meeting at lunch on Tuesday, October 9th in Room 136. –
Staff and students: The National Art Honor Society will be selling blue and white tie dye t-shirts at the Homecoming game this Friday night. The cost will be $10. Unsold shirts can be purchased next week for the same price. –
Students, if you would like your face painted for Friday’s homecoming assembly, the NAHS will be face painting Friday morning before school and at breakfast in the art room. The cost is $1-2 depending on amount of design requested. Be sure to clear it with your 1st hour teacher if you will be out of their room. We will stop painting when breakfast ends at 8:22. –
Next Monday is the West Shore College night. If you have not yet signed up, make sure that you do so. This is open to both Juniors and Seniors.
