On Friday October 5, Brethren High School National Honor Society will be collecting items for one of our Bobcat families who recently lost everything in a fire. If you can contribute a new or gently used item, please bring it to the game on Friday. A table will be set up at the entrance to collect items. If you cannot make it to the game but still want to contribute, please bring items to Mrs. Amstutz’s room (135). Please see the poster in the hallway for examples of items needed. Any help you can give would be appreciated!
Paint the Town Pink event is Thursday, Oct. 4th with 4pm gathering, 4:45 Ceremony and walk beginning at 5pm in Downtown Manistee.

Congratulations to the Varsity volleyball team on their dominating three set win over Baldwin last night! The girls travel to Walkerville tomorrow night. –
MS FB plays at Marion starting at 5:30pm. –
Anyone interested in helping out with the varsity volleyball tournament this Saturday, please talk with Mr. Kemler. –
Mr. Kemler is going to finalize the fan cloth order today. Orders need to be turned in before the end of the day.
MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL:

HS Student Council meeting today during lunch. –
Tug of War will take place after 6th period attendance. Please wait for a dismissal announcement (Mr. Wojo). –
Middle School spirit week is going strong! Edging out today’s totals are the 8th graders with 66%, 7th grade with 58% and 6th graders with 51%. Tomorrow is Safari Day. If you are unsure of what to wear ask your St. Council reps. –
Staff and students the National Art Honor Society will be selling blue and white tie dye t-shirts at the Homecoming game this Friday night. The cost will be $10. Unsold shirts can be purchased next week for the same price. –
Students if you would like your face painted for Friday’s homecoming assembly, the NAHS will be face painting Friday morning before school and at breakfast in the art room. The cost is $1-2 depending on amount of design requested. Be sure to clear it with your 1st hour teacher if you will be out of their room. We will stop painting when breakfast ends at 8:22. –
Next Monday is the West Shore College night. If you have not yet signed up, make sure that you do so. This is open to both Juniors and Seniors.
