Students: Today we are starting After School Suppers for any student staying after school! We will be giving out free grab and go suppers in the cafeteria immediately after school. Please follow “physical distancing” from others. These after school suppers will be provided Monday-Thursday during the school year.
SPORTS:

Incredible job by the cross country teams in Hart on Saturday! The MS girls finished 4th and the HS girls finished 2nd. Bringing home medals were Alexis, Abby, and Lindsay. Finishing the day with Personal or Season bests were: Connor, Alexis, Ashlynn, Jane, Toni, Lindsay, Kenna, Savannah, and Bailee. The postseason starts on Wednesday for the high school team, with a District race at Benzie Central. –

Varsity football played a great game on Friday, defeating MCC 44 to 34. Good job, guys! –
Middle school boys’ basketball practice begins tomorrow, right after school. Coach Randall will have a quick meeting with interested players during lunch.

October is Michigan College Month! Today’s college is Central Michigan University! CMU is the only college in Michigan to offer a degree in meteorology! Other popular programs at CMU include education, journalism, and business. –
MS SEEDS in person programming starts tomorrow, Tuesday Oct 20th. You must have your paperwork turned in before you can attend. See Joe in room 125 for more information. –
Introducing Funky Fridaaaaays! Towards the end of the month, NHS will be hosting a different challenge on a Friday! Each class will dress up according to the topic, and whichever 4th hour has the highest percentage of people matching the topic will win a small prize. Our first event is going to be Flannel Friday, hosted on October 23rd. We hope to see you rocking your flannels!
