The Cooperative Drama Program’s spring production of Aladdin, Jr opens Friday, April 26 at 7 pm in the Onekama School Cafetorium and runs Saturday at 7 pm and Sunday at 2 pm. Tickets will be available in each high school office this week and will also be available at the door. Cost is $8 for Adults and $5 for students.
SPORTS :

Congratulations to the Baseball and Softball teams on their sweeps at MCE last night. Baseball won the first game 3-0 with Jake striking out 15 of the 17 batters faced. Skylar came in and closed the game with one strike:) Mason Stapley had a hot bat, hitting 3 for 3, followed by Troy Macurio going 2 for 3 at the plate. Crossing the plate and scoring were Skylar, Tyler Guinan, and Mason. In game two Skylar, Michael King and Adrian took to the mound for us. At the plate, the Bobcats bat were hot! Going 5 for 5 and smashing 3 home runs was Jake, followed by Hunter Wojo 3-3, Skylar 2-3, and Noah Bradford 1-1. The boys put up 22 runs to MCE’s 11 which resulted in a mercy win. Practice today boys looks like inside after softball. Meet in room 122 for studies. –
Middle school track had a great first meet of the season. The girls finished 3rd overall while the boys finished 5th overall. Some of the top finishers are: Lucas Stapley took 1st in the 55 and 200 meter hurdles, Abby Kissling took second in the 800, both boys and girls 4X100 teams took 2nd, Cadence Yancharas took 2nd in the 200 meter hurdles, the girls 4X200 team took 2nd, Maddy Biller took 2nd in shot put, and Samantha Hiller took 2nd in long jump. Great job teams! Don’t forget we have a make up meet this Thursday at Big Rapids. –
The girls soccer game vs. Burt Lake tonight has been rescheduled for May 16th. There will be practice in its place right after school. –

MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL:

Seniors will have an ice cream party Wednesday at lunch. –
NHS Bake Sale starts today at lunch. Proceeds will go toward funding our Bobcat Blessings in a Backpack program. –
Please remember, if you received a letter inviting you to apply to NHS, we will have an informational meeting tomorrow during lunch in room 135. Please get your lunch and first. If you can not attend, please talk to Mrs. Amstutz in person or it will be assumed you do not wish to apply. –
Those interested in robotics for the 2019-2020 school year should talk to Mr. Knoll. Robotics will be meeting each Tuesday for the rest of the year. –
