Looking for a cool cultural activity on spring break? Check out the Brethren MS/HS Art Exhibit that will be displayed at the Kaleva Art Gallery from March 29th through April 12th with an artist reception on Saturday April 5th from 11-1. Besides the student artwork there are lots of other art and craft on display and for sale and all purchases support local artists and crafters.

MS Track Practice starts the Tuesday after Spring Break. If you need a schedule, come see Mrs.Matuz .

If you did not pick up your senior packet from Jostens, they are available in the office.

Attention all Artists in grades 6th -12th. The Kaleva Heritage Days committee is seeking designs for the 125th anniversary of the founding of the village of Kaleva. Designs can be created in any medium but should not be larger than 8 1/2 x 11. Designs incorporating Finnish Heritage & Customs, Finnish Folklore, Iconic Architecture and/or landmarks in Kaleva are preferred and will more likely be selected. 13 Designs will be selected by the Committee – 1 Design will be used on T-Shirts for the 5K race, The Finnish Line and on the cover of a 12 month calendar. The other 12 designs will be chosen for each month of the calendar. Prizes will be awarded to the winning designs. All designs must be submitted to art teacher, Mrs. Mobley no later than 4 pm on Thursday May 1st. Let her know if you have any questions.
