*Brethren High School/Middle SchoolKND ElementaryFriday, June 1st 2018 – Starting Monday, students will not be allowed to charge lunches if you have a negative balance. Please check your lunch accounts. SPORTS : – The LakerCats District play came to a close last night, but it was not without a fight in a the second half. The girls went into the second half down 7-0. They were able to not only hold them at 7, but Megan Cordes was able to sneak by a goal. A great second half ladies! We are proud of what you were able to accomplish this season. Thank you to all the Students, Staff, Parents, and Supporters we couldn’t have done it without you! Thank you for another magnificent season- Coach Magee- Middle school track kids need to turn in their uniforms ASAP. Bills will be sent home starting next week for any uniforms not turned in.- Best of Luck to Logan Tighe. Logan is our sole competitor tomorrow at the State Track and Field Finals in the high jump. Make us proud Logan!!!- Anyone that used track cleats from Mrs. Riggs needs to return them please. – Baseball players:1v turn in the rest of your uniform pieces please. – Happy #17 Birthday to Adrian Dean! – The baseball banquet will be Wednesday night at 6:00 in the cafeteria. – Coach Riggs has two baseball hats left to sell. Don’t miss out on this limited edition sale!!- Athletics has some clothing leftover that we are going to sell at a cheaper cost while supplies last. See Mr. Kemler.- Anyone grades 5-11 interested in running Cross Country next year, get in contact with Mr Griffin. There is a letter to take home and a practice schedule attached.MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL: – Class meetings for speeches and elections will take place tomorrow after lunch with the exception of a few softball ladies that need to give their speech during an impromptu meeting during breakfast before they leave for districts. Come support your classmates!- There will be a robotics meeting today at lunch for those interested in robotics next school year. This meeting will be short but grab your lunches quickly and go to Mr. Knoll’s room. – NAHS current and interested new members, there will be a meeting at lunch todaygo over summer opportunities and discuss next years membership.- Attention Students interested in joining yearbook next year. You need to write a formal letter of interest outlining your strengths that would make you a good candidate to be a member of the 2018-19 yearbook staff. Please send to Mrs. Mobley no later than Friday June 1st. – Anyone interested in attending an academic camp at Alma College this summer please June 1st, 2018see Mrs. Riggs for information. Camps include a focus in Business, Environmental Science, Global Challenges and a Service/Leadership opportunity.
