KND Elementary Gets New Playground

KND Schools

We are excited to celebrate the completion of our brand-new playground at KND Elementary! This project is an investment in our students, our families, and our entire community.

The playground project was made possible through a 10-year, $9.5 million bond proposal approved by KND voters. The bond extended an existing tax levy without increasing the tax rate for our community. As part of the project, the KND Board of Education approved $355,835.13 for the new playground equipment from GameTime.

Designed with both learning and play in mind, the playground offers something for everyone. Students will enjoy the new equipment during the school day, while local families are welcome to use the playground outside of school hours.

What's New?

Our new playground includes:

  • Zipline swings and traditional swings

  • A sensory dome

  • A net spinner and climber

  • A new playground border

  • Engineered wood fiber safety surfacing throughout the play area

This playground is more than new equipment—it is a place for children to play, explore, build friendships, take healthy risks, and create memories together.

We are grateful to our community for supporting this investment in our students and for helping make KND a place where our small school, big family spirit can continue to grow.
