SPORTS:

Although our JV football team suffered a loss last night, they played with heart and integrity! Coach Wojo is very proud of you and is also thankful that he was able to be your coach. Great job gentleman!! –
Great job to the Cross Country teams at conference championships on Wednesday!! –
On the high school side: Autumn ran the fastest race of her high school career by over a minute, Natalie dropped another minute off of her season best, and Abby ran a new season best to take home First-Team All Conference honors. –
The middle school saw Jude and Logan take home all-conference honors and Norah, Nevaeh, and Olivia run awesome races in their last competition of the year. Great season, middle school!!
MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL:

Next week NHS is challenging all of the 1st hour classes in grades 6-12 to a food drive competition. We are collecting non-perishable food items, such as canned goods, and personal hygiene products like shampoo and deodorant. The 1st hour that earns the most points will win cider and donuts! All of the donations will go to the Church of the Brethren food pantry. Please help if you can! (Get it, can?!). See the posters in the hallways for more details. –
NAHS members who signed up to make posters for the Costume Contest need to make them and put them up ASAP. Any questions or concerns, contact Cora. –
If returning cans is something you dread doing, here’s your chance to make them disappear! The Eastern European travel group will be hosting a can drive this week. You may drop your clean and rinsed cans outside of the office door or high school door, or drop them off Thursday during conferences, before the volleyball game, or Friday night at the entrance to the football game. –
Students traveling to Eastern Europe: please let Mrs. Amstutz or Mrs. Mobley know if you are able to stay after and sort bottles/cans this week. Remember, you need to participate in order to earn the funds toward your trip. –
