KND Elementary

Thursday, October 31st, 2019

Our school was in the paper 3 times yesterday.  Band is having an instrument drive, Alexis Tracy was in for going to State and Ken Grabowski wrote a wonderful article about our school and how we are getting ready for a vote next Tuesday for the zero mill increase.  A great day to be a Bobcat.

SPORTS :

  • Congrats to Alexis Tracy on being named Academic All-State by the Class D Cross Country Coaches Association!

  • Playoff sweatshirts will be on sale today! Please see Mr. Randall for more details.

  • Any 9-12th grade girl playing basketball this season, please make certain you have a valid physical on file by Nov. 11th – first practice:)

  • Saturday the Elementary girls host Bear Lake and MCE. The 4th grade will play Bear Lake at 9am and MCE at 10:30am. The 5th grade will play back to back games against MCE at 9:45 and 10:30am (because Bear Lake only has the younger team).  Thank you to Mrs. Hickok and Martin Sexton for volunteer coaching these lil’ Bobcats. 4th and 5th grade girl basketball players need to be here at the school at 8:30 Saturday morning.

MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL:

  • Congrats to the High School quiz bowl team which travel to CMU and represented the Bobcats at Quiz Central. Although the score was not in our favor, know that you all were respectively represented by Jane Amstutz (*captain), Will Pasqualone, Justin Kissling, Rhiannon Gillis and Ashylnn Wardie. It was an added bonus to have Charlee Schaefer in the audience.

  • Thank you to ALL who have dropped money in the “Coins for Cancer” jars. At this time it appears as if the 6th grade is in the lead (Whoot-Whoot!), followed by the 7th and 12th grades respectively.  Tomorrow is the final day to donate.  Let’s fill those jars Bobcats and support those battling cancer. The winning class will decide which LOCAL organization will receive our donation.
